- Verifies the campaign started and captures screen shot

- Verifies delivery to plan

- Pull Stats, analyzes and optimizes against client goals

- Double check all formulas of client reporting before sending out

- Works on Billing  – Reviews Margin

- Makes sure to compare billing against Insertion Order (Contract)

- Works on RFPs and Media Plans

Requirements

Fjord’s primary client categories are technology, telecom, financial services, and media; customers include Nokia, Ericsson, Telefonica, BBC, Thomson Reuters, BBVA, Foursquare, NFL, ESPN and Yahoo!

The Business Development Director, San Francisco will be a key contributor to Fjord’s US growth. He/she will be instrumental in developing business opportunities with new and existing clients, with particular emphasis on technology and telecom verticals.

The Business Development Director reports directly to the VP, Business Development, and collaborates closely with the Business Development Director, East Coast, Managing Director, Service Design Leads and the larger Fjord design community.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Meets or exceeds the West Coast territory revenue target.
• Research, target and qualify new client opportunities across Fjord’s focus verticals, with particular emphasis on technology and telecom.
• Nurtures new project opportunities at every stage of the business development funnel: engagement, needs assessment, opportunity framing and proposal creation.
• Mines existing client relationships for new and interesting project opportunities and follow-on work.
• Develops mutually beneficial relationships up, down and across client organizations; gains an intimate understanding of clients’ needs, strategies, product & service offerings, and decision-making structures.
• Collaborates with VP, Business Development (VP, BD), Managing Director (MD), and Service Design Leads (SDL) in opportunity framing discussions, briefing meetings, and proposal generation.
• Maintains responsibility, clarity, and accountability for the whole, but knows how and when to activate colleagues to move opportunities forward.
• Quickly develops and maintains fluency with Fjord design methodologies and core project case studies, easily adapting them to fit clients’ needs.
• In collaboration with the VP, BD and marketing lead, identifies conferences and other industry opportunities to evangelize and advance Fjord’s profile on the West Coast.
